“It’s actually its final form” OOOOOOOOOOOOF!!! I was at a super normal globo gym last week and there were QR codes errrrrrrywhere for peptides out of nowhere. I saw Ben Pakulski say it’s the the 1998 supplement industry but in 2026.

It is wild to see something that feels fringe embedded in common spaces in such a normalized way! Even the term “peptides” is difficult because there are very well researched, FDA approved things that fall within that category alongside research chemicals. Ben put it well, that IS what it feels like.

To me this feels like when everyone was divided over intensity being king or normal every day average training. The appeal of intensity made you feel like if you weren’t you couldn’t make it. But now we know how to productize “intensity” because every good business understands scale. Similarly, there was mass differences in how people delivered intensity to normal every day humans. Last point! It’s also weird because it almost feels like it’s marketed to gym bros but from a financial perspective it’s going to be people with more 💰 who can purchase it. Superrrrrrrrr interested in the next 18 months (because that’s like 5-7 years of time back in 2007).
